Jennifer Roe, Executive and Artistic Director

Over the past 25+ years, Jen has worked at/for numerous non-profits both in and around Southern Maine and New York City, primarily in the areas of marketing, administration and design. After starting as an ACOG volunteer 15+ years ago, she worked as lead staff for ACOG's elementary school programs before moving into her current role in 2011.  She feels incredibly lucky to have a job that can make such a difference, and really enjoys watching the girls grow and find their own creative ways to express themselves.  Jen is also a certified teen life coach, and serves on the Board of the Maine Alliance for Arts Education.

Jen's advice to girls:

"Always be true to yourself and find what makes you happy. Be brave. Take risks.
And go for it! "

Sarah Morneau, Teaching Artist/Curriculum Coordinator
After going to college in New York City and Paris to earn a degree in creative writing, mainly poetry, Sarah spends her spare time in nature and playing harmony fiddle in a country blues string band.  She really admires ACOG and all the girls in it.  "It is such a unique and nurturing space in which girls are encouraged to be proud of who they are and find their voice through theater and art.  It has been a joy to see girls blossom from silent to witty and shy to flamboyant, but I've been most profoundly impressed by how supportive they are of each other."

Sarah's advice to girls:

"Keep on being kind to each other and your soul will always be happy and fulfilled."
