Check in is a great way to foster community bonding, emotional awareness, and get to know each-other.

Each participant gets a couple minutes that are fully their own to share how they’re feeling and answer a fun question of the day.

Every day at ACOG+ we take time to settle down and check in with each other, and with ourselves.
Check-In
Each day at ACOG+, we begin by slowing down and checking in—with one another and with ourselves—because how our students are feeling truly matters to us and we want them to know that. Every participant is given a few uninterrupted minutes that are fully their own to share what’s on their mind and respond to a light, often playful, question of the day.
This daily check-in is a core part of our social-emotional learning practice and a clear signal to students that they are seen and heard. By making space for feelings, students build self-awareness, empathy, and communication skills that support healthy relationships and resilience. These moments of care and connection help lay the foundation for well-being that extends far beyond their time at ACOG+.
How are you feeling? We really do care!
